Cockatiels are small, charming parrots known for their gentle and docile nature. These affectionate birds enjoy being petted and held, often preferring to be near their owners rather than engaging in extensive cuddling. Their playful and active disposition makes them delightful companions, and while they do vocalize and whistle, they are generally quieter than many other parrot species.

To place a deposit on a future baby cockatiel or to purchase an available baby, ensure to fill out the Contract Request and notify us that you have paid your deposit so we can add you to the Reserve Lists.
Important Notes on Deposits:
- Placing a deposit does not immediately guarantee a baby cockatiel. It reserves your place and date on the Reserve Lists. Babies are presented to families in the order that deposits are placed.
- The photo provided is a representation and does not reflect the actual baby you may pick.
- Our babies are in high demand, and we breed a limited number at a time. Therefore, we use a First-Come, First-Serve Reserve List system. We cannot hold a baby without a deposit.
- Your reserve deposit covers the baby’s DNA sexing, ensures the baby has a home waiting for them, and reserves the baby until weaned. The remaining fee is due upon pickup.
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to hold babies until weaned. For species with multiple prices, this equates to 50% of the lowest price at the time of deposit. Should the chosen baby be of a higher value, the difference will be paid at pickup. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable.

Regular handling and socialization from a young age can prevent nipping behaviors, ensuring they remain friendly and approachable. Rewarding good behavior and ignoring bad behavior is key to maintaining a positive relationship with your cockatiel. They are also known for their mimicking abilities, with males typically being more proficient in mimicking speech and whistles.
