RETURN POLICY

RETURNS
All product returns must be postmarked within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached if applicable. (See further below on Live Bird returns.)
RETURN PROCESS
To return an item, place the item securely in its original packaging and include your proof of purchase, then mail your return to the following address:

Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.
REFUNDS
After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least three (3) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.
REFUNDS ON LIVE BIRDS
Deposits are nonrefundable in all circumstances. A deposit helps ensure that our bird has a home, and covers the costs of their disease testing and formula during hand feeding. If you should place a deposit and then change your mind, you forfeit your deposit for wasting our time. These are living animals that require a commitment, not a television set you can just return. Please be certain of your decision to add a bird to your home before placing a deposit.
Should you pay for your bird in full, and then change your mind, you can choose to use our Consignment Policy (see below).
EXCEPTIONS
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
● Opened Food Items (Such as a bag of Zupreem)
● Perishable Or Frozen Food Items (Such as Northwest Naturals Chubs)
● Used Calcium Products (Such as Cuttlebone)
● Birds Purchased Through Site, Contract, or In-Store

Please Note
● Any attempt at fraudulent returns, such as purposefully damaging or altering the product or service received by any means, will negate any eligibility for refund, return, or exchange.
LIVE BIRD RETURNS
Live Birds are not eligible for return outside of the 72-hour window, to protect our flock from possible contamination, or disease exposure. We DO offer a Consignment option for birds that are no longer wanted.
● Arrangements will be made for the return of the bird to our off-site location. This is to prevent any possible disease exposure to our flock.
● Bird will be quarantined off-site for 45 days and a full disease panel will be run. The cost for this test is $90 and will be taken out of the bird's returned consignment fees upon the bird's sale.
● If the bird's results are clean, we will begin searching for a home for them.
● Once a home is found, and bird is sold, Clutch Hutch will withdraw 40% of the purchase price as a consignment fee. The remaining 60% will be immediately forwarded to the family that placed the bird on consignment.
